About Me

Dr Kate Fillingham

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

HCPC registered, ACAT accredited

I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at UCL between 2015 and 2018. I’ve been practising as a Clinical Psychologist since. In that time, I’ve completed a further 2-year specialist training in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT). I’ve also done Part 1 and Part 2 training in EMDR.

I’m particularly drawn to working in CAT. (There’s a tab in the menu if you’d like to know more.) But some issues are better suited to other approaches and some people gel better with different ways of working. The initial assessment session is for thinking with you about what is bringing you to therapy, what you would like out of therapy and how that is best going to be achieved. I’ve included a tab about other approaches I draw on in my work, to give a flavour of the range of ways therapy can look when working with me.

Above all, I want to help you make sense of your difficulties in a way that fits for you and help you move forward in your life in the way you want to.
